Angelo Accardi, born in 1964 in Sapri, Italy, is an Italian artist known for his surreal and often unsettling works that explore the relationship between man and his environment therefore Accardi’s artistic focus is on the study of man and the space he inhabits.

This work is part of a series that explores the theme of pressure and stress in modern living. It features urban landscapes and interiors of houses and museums, which are filtered through original pictorial interpretations to reveal a hidden reality.

This exhibition is currently showcased in Venice at “Palazzo Donà dalle Rose” until September 2024. It will be set in the 80’s and every element used in the exhibition will create a surreal atmosphere that will make people believe to be travelled in time. The main theme of the exhibition is the desire of the human being to elevate his position and brake free from patterns.

These exhibitions are scheduled for the year 2024 and will feature Angelo Accardi’s surrealistic canvases combining elements of classical and contemporary art.
